CUPPING

Cupping is an ancient Chinese method used to relieve muscle tension, promote blood and lymph circulation, detoxification and healing. ELECTROACUPUNCTURE

Electroacupuncture is similar to traditional acupuncture except the needles are attached to a device that generates continuous electric pulses using small clips. The device is used to adjust the frequency and intensity of the impulse being delivered, depending on the condition of the patient. A similar technique called transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation or TENS, uses electrode that are taped to the surface of the skin instead of inserting needles can be used to treating patients who are fear of needles or a condition that prohibits them from being needled

GUA-SHA

Gua-Sha involves repeated pressed strokes over lubricated skin with a smooth edged blunt instrument, lightly scraping the skin to produce a slight petechial and improve circulation. This treatment aims to move blocked energy and stagnated blood to relieve aches or stiffness in a very short period on the patient’s back, buttocks, neck, arms and legs

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion or “Moxa” is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy which consists of burning dried mugwort on particular points on the body.
